From Corralejo begin the NorthShore to El Cotillo, the street is not asphalt but there is a beautiful view.

During the trip you are surroundings by rocky desert and small creek creating by ocean. There are around ten spots by surfer and three spots by kitesurfer and windsurfer, all that spots have rocky seabed.

In ElCotillo ends the NorthShore, in this town there are three wonderful Kite and wind spots, you can find the perfect condition if you will look for a quite ocean, no big waves, and the sandy backdrop.

After ElCotillo we find Escalera and Esquinzo, two desert beautiful beaches the paradise for surfers. The backdrop is sandy.

East coast

In front of Corralejo there is “the Spot” of this achipelago. It finds the Isla Lobos has many waves that break around it, with the one coast facing fuerteventura laying claim to what many call the longest right hand point in Europe.

The most consistant wave is a reefbreak located next to the harbour wall to the north of the town (Punta de Corralejo). Rocky Point is another reefbreak located in a protected bay but needs a big swell to start working. Especially good for intermediates who want to get their first experiences with a reefbreak. If you don’t want to paddle around the reef and are not willing to come to terms with the sharp lava rocks, reef boots are a good idea. If you prefer a beachbreak, you can have a good wave when the swell is big at Flag Beach or Glass Beach located to the southeast of Corralejo.

Onde oceaniche si frangono su falesie di roccia vulcanica, sabbia gialla di sahara si bagna sulla battigia, sento ancora la risacca trascinare il mio corpo facendo sobbalzare il cuore…
